Privacy Policy

Your tabs are your business.

Effective date: June 9, 2026

The short version: Tab Snoozer collects nothing, sends nothing, and tracks nothing. Everything it knows lives in your browser, on your device. There are no servers - so there is nowhere for your data to go.

What Tab Snoozer stores

To do its job, Tab Snoozer keeps a small amount of data in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device:

That's the complete list. This data is created by you, stored for you, and used only to reopen your tabs at the time you picked.

What Tab Snoozer does not do

Why the extension asks for permissions

Tab Snoozer requests only the browser permissions it needs to function, and uses each one for exactly one purpose:

None of these permissions are used to observe your browsing. The extension only ever touches a tab when you explicitly snooze it.

Data retention and deletion

Your data stays on your device until you remove it, and you're always in control:

Children's privacy

Tab Snoozer does not collect personal information from anyone - including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Since the extension's design makes data collection impossible, meaningful changes are unlikely - and the local-only promise is permanent.
